Brenda Antonio is a Los Angeles-based, bilingual (English/Spanish) strategic partnerships executive with nearly two decades of experience turning relationships into results at the highest levels of entertainment.
From the MTV Video Music Awards to Comic-Con, she has spent her career at the intersection of talent, culture, and audience, building the kind of trust with agencies, managers, and artists that makes the impossible look seamless.
For nearly 20 years at Paramount Global's MTV Entertainment Group, Brenda was the person in the room when it mattered most. As Vice President of Studio Relations & Celebrity Talent, she directed end-to-end talent strategy and live event execution for globally broadcast tentpoles across some of the most iconic venues in the world: Madison Square Garden, Barclays Center, Crypto.com Arena, the Kia Forum, UBS Arena, and Prudential Center. She led the strategic talent work behind the 2025 MTV VMAs, which drew its largest audience in six years, and a portfolio of campaigns that generated over a billion video views globally.
When COVID shut down the world in 2020 and no one knew how to put on a live awards show, Brenda figured it out anyway, developing real-time health and safety protocols alongside compliance officers, protecting hundreds of talent and crew while delivering a seamless globally broadcast event without missing a beat.
Brenda didn't just manage relationships. She built them from the ground up. Starting as an Assistant in 2006, she earned the trust of every major talent agency, management firm, and studio in the business over the course of a career defined by integrity, creative instinct, and an ability to find the yes when everyone else sees a wall. She also created things that didn't exist before like the MTV Fandom Awards at Comic-Con, a fan-first experiential event she conceived with MTV executives and launched from scratch that became one of the network's signature cultural tentpoles.
Brenda brings the same intentionality to every partnership she touches, whether she's negotiating a complex talent agreement, managing a multi-million dollar budget across competing priorities, or quietly making sure the right artist is in the right room at the right time.
A proud Cal State Fullerton alumna, NAMIC Executive Leadership Program graduate, member of Chief, and member of the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences, she leads with both strategic precision and genuine care for the people she works with.
Her throughline is simple: build real relationships, deliver real results, and always show up for the room.
